Large Oranges and Beanie Babies Oh My!!!

Week 17

So I signed up for some free stuff on the internet and in doing so now get daily updates from Parents.com. For week 17 below are the stats of the babies this week:

Baby's Length: 4.5-5 in
Baby's Weight: 3-5 oz.
Baby's Size: Beanie Baby

Wow!!! Beanie Babies...and two of them at that!!! I know my dad will get a kick out of this weeks size because for those that do not know he has a Beanie Baby collection that could fill up our entire nursery (he bought them when they were worth something in hopes of making money off them and then never sold them)...and yes little ones he has informed me that you will be lucky enough to play with them one day ;)

According to my books from the Dr's office this week they are the size of large oranges...I guess it makes sense if they were all balled up they are oranges and all spread out they are beanie babies. So this growth helps me feel better about how much my belly has grown!!! Even Carl was shocked when he got home from his ski trip how much bigger my belly was...its also a lot higher now since they are moving up and spreading out as they get bigger. Don't worry we will have pictures to post very soon of all the changes.

We love you our two precious oranges/beanie baies!!!

How your baby's growing: (according to babycenter.com)

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
