Ok so lets be honest I have literally been horrible at blogging at all in forever. I am great at posting the occasional picture from my phone, but as far as seriously updating and blogging it has been pretty much non existent. Aside from everyday life with twins life has just been crazy!!! We had a great Christmas, but two days after Christmas the plague took over our family and lasted literally until this past Saturday. We had every sickness you can imagine…started with the stomach bug, then sinus, ear, and eye infections for the girls, flu for the hubby and sinus infection and throat, then strep, sinus infection, and laryngitis for me. In between all of this Makenzie got stuck in one of her Cyclic Vomiting Cycles and had to go to the hospital, then back to Duke to help snap her out of it with meds and iv’s. I will spare you guys all the details, but lets just say it SUCKED! Plus I did not even have a chance to actually be sick myself because I was taking care of everyone else and refused any help from others because I would never want to share these sicknesses with anyone! Which also means we spent New Years home alone & we have missed out on lots of fun festivities in order to keep the germs quarantined. By the end when Carl and the girls were getting better I was just so sick and exhausted and ended up worse off from over doing it and had to go on a second round of antibiotics and meds. After three different rounds of antibiotics for the girls they seem to be doing much better!
In between all the puking, laundry, coughing, misery and more I have been trying to work on my new business venture that I am so excited about. My friend and great photographer Tonya and I have started our own photography business which I will share more about asap. For now I just wanted to let those that have been checking in on us know what has been going on. I appreciate all your concern and support and am praying for those that are now sick and dealing with any of this no fun stuff.
We finally got out of the house yesterday and went to the park. I had a photo shoot and Carl took the girls to play while I worked. Here are our cuties having fun!
