Today we woke up in the Bahama's! It was actually raining when we first got up but we decided to go ahead and get ready and head to the gangway (where we get off the ship at ports of call). By the time we made it off the ship the rain had stopped! We hopped on a tram that took us to downtown Nassau. Once there we waited for a cab and headed to the Atlantis Resort. We walked through the casino and went to check out the "free" parts of the resort which wasn't that much, but they did have a really cool aquarium which we got lots of pictures of and were amazed at the size of the sea animals in the aquarium. After walking around there we got on a water taxi back towards downtown and the ship. The water taxi was fun! Our guide told us a lot about the Bahamas and pointed out cool facts and places along the way! When we got back downtown we went through all the shops and checked out lots of things along the way. After buying some souveniers it was time to head back to the ship. We got back on the ship and had some lunch, layed by the pool, got in the jacuzzi, then went to the room to rest and get ready for dinner. It was formal night so we got all dressed up and headed to dinner. It was the captains welcome aboard night so we had steak and lobster and fun things during dinner. After dinner we had some pictures taken and then went to the late night show! It was a good show. After the show we went and watched overtime of the National Championship game! But after the game we went to watch the late night rated R comedy show which was great! The comedian they had actually writes for Jay Leno! He was hilarious! He had us in tears both times we saw him! After the comedy we went to the casino for a lil fun. We did well or should I say Carl did well and we had fun while doing it. At this point it was pretty late so we headed to bed to prepare for the fun day at sea!
