Another great day! We slept in since there was nothing we had to be up for so when we finally got up we went straight to the buffet and got tons of yummy food. After stuffing face we searched for a place to lay out for the day. We found a great place and posted up. It was beautiful out so we just lounged the whole day. We took a few dips in the pool, I wrote in our travel journal, Carl made new friends, I wrote postcards, and we just relaxed. It was wonderful. We did so much hard work of course we worked up an appetite so we hit up the buffet and pizza stand yet again. After some more fun and sun it was time to head to the room to shower and get ready for the last formal night. We got all dressed up and headed down to the dining room, but on the way we stopped for lots of picts of ourselves and with Vishnu and Kelly. We then went in to the dining room and ate lots of good food and yummy deserts. Afterwards we all headed to the theatre for the late night show which was an 80's theme of fun music and dancing. It was really good. After the show we went and got out of our formal clothes and headed to the casino for some games and cocktails. Another good night there...we quit around 3 and went back to the room and hung out on the balcony looking at stars, the water, and other boats. We finally crashed after that! (As you can see we took lots of picts of ourselves this day, but we were just having so much fun!)

We woke up this morning pretty down cause we knew it was our last day on the cruise, but we were gonna have a blast regardless. Carl started the day by going to the disembarkation meeting to find out what all we had to do to get off the boat and stuff. After he was done there he came back and gave me all the details. Afterwards we headed for our final luch buffet trip on the boat. It was good, and we of course made the most of it and loaded our plates down with way more than we can ever eat but it was worth it to try everything. After stuffing face we headed to the pool deck. We found a place on the top deck by the main pool and the carribean band. We relaxed and layed out for a while then it was time for BINGO! The jackpot was worth $5000...we were sure one of us was gonna win. Because there was such a big jackpot it was blackout bingo which meant you had to blackout your entire card. I heard these directions very clear, but for some reason Carl didn't. So Matt the announcer called out the 17th number of the game, now in order to win he had to at least call out 25 or so numbers, needless to say the next thing I know Carl is jumping up and down screaming BINGO BINGO BINGO...Im yelling at him to get him to sit down everyone around us is doing the same thing, but he continued screaming it thinking because he had one line marked out he had won until Matt comes over in front of everyone to let him know he did not have BINGO. It was a moment to never forget. Unfortunately we did not win after all that...but we still had a blast. After the fun at the pool we went to the room to pack our stuff...not fun but it had to be done. While packing, our room steward brought us our liquor we bought at the islands so we could pack that as well. After packing we went and got a snack, went to the pursers desk to see how much we spent for the week, and we went to the photo gallery to check out all the photos from the week. By this time it was time to get ready for dinner, but first we hung out on the balcony and watched the most beautiful sunset ever...Carl literally took about 25 pictures...it was amazing and just the perfect ending to a perfect week. After the amazing sunset we showered and got all dressed up and headed for our last meal in the dining room. Since it was the last night we ordered almost everything on the menu...it was great! After stuffing face me, Carl, Kelly, and Vishnu went for the final show of the week. It was the legends show...they had tryouts for different singers from James Brown to Brittney Spears so people on the ship were the stars of the show...some were horrible and some were good. It was fun though and thats what mattered. After the show we went back to the room to finish packing and set our bags outside of our rooms to get picked up. After that we went to the club to meet Vishnu and Kelly...we hung out and had some drinks and then we all headed to the casino. We played for a lil bit, but it was not a great night there so we didn't last too long...plus we had to get up early so after all the fun was had we went to bed.

Honeymoon Day 8 Miami and then Home!

(Carl on the bed waiting for our number to be called) (View of Miami from balcony)

(Sitting on the balcony depressed we are leaving) (Cruise lobby on our floor)

(Map of our floor) (Us in Miami)

(After dinner in Miami) (Posing)

(Our big catch of the day) (All our luggage for the trip)
So today we woke up to land...it was very depressing! We just layed around waiting for our number to be called to get off the boat and we sat out on the balcony for a while. Our number was finally called so we said goodbye to the cruise and snapped a few picts and got off the ship. We then had to go to the carosel to get our luggage and then had to wait in a long line to go through customs. We were grilled by the customs agent he even thought we bought my rings in the islands but we finally made it through with all 10 bags of luggage including what we had to buy in the islands to fit everything. We stepped outside and caught a cab to take us to the hotel since we could not get a flight back till Monday. After an ordeal with the hotel we finally got into our room at the hotel. We just bummed around and relaxed the whole day. We then got showered and dressed and headed towards Dolphin Mall Miami. It was really cool...it was set on the harbor and had live bands and an open air mall. We walked around for a bit checking things out and finally found a really nice restaurant on the water to eat at. We had an amazing meal and our server was really fun and told us all about the area. After dinner we shopped a lil more and then cought a cab and went back to the hotel to pack everything up. We got up early Monday morning and went to the airport to fly home. We made it to Raleigh after a few delays and my dad picked us up from the airport with a flag saying just married on the jeep! We went to my parents and Max and Petie were there too. We hung out for a bit and told all about our trip and then we had a wonderful dinner. After dinner Angela and Beca stopped by too. After a quick visit we packed up the jeep to the absolute brim and took off to Wilmington. We made it home and the dogs were so excited to see us and we were just as excited to see them! We unpacked the car and crashed! We had the best wedding and the best honeymoon ever thanks to our wonderful amazing family! We are so glad you were all able to be a part of our this special time in our lives and we thank you all so much!
